City and State laws require that dogs and cats be vaccinated against
rabies on an annual basis. Animals must be registered with the City and must
wear the required tags and collars. The City requires that animals be
confined at all times. The maximum number of animals allowed per household
is four. The City will pick up stray animals in response to complaints. Except for quarantine, animals
are held for 72 hours.
