employment applications only when there are
openings. Openings are posted on the
bulletin board just inside the front door of
City offices, 155 E. Colorado. Applications
for employment can be submitted during
weekday business hours from 8:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m. only if there is an opening.

Library is currently seeking to fill the
position of part-time Assistant Librarian.
Position requires weekday and weekend work.

CEMETERY/PARKS
MAINTENANCE WORKER (Posted 3-11-08)
The City of La Grange is actively seeking
applicants for part-time Cemetery/Parks
Maintenance Worker. Applicants should have
the knowledge to operate a string trimmer,
push lawn mower, riding mower and/or tractor
and shredder. Applicants must possess a
valid Texas Driver’s License. Salary is
negotiable based on experience and
qualifications. Interested applicants may

Assistant
The City of La Grange
Recreation Department is now accepting
applications for Recreation Assistants and
Supervisors. Applicants must be available
to work the After School Program, Spring
Break activities, Summer Recreation Program,
and some evening and weekend hours. For

Lifeguards
The City of La Grange
Recreation Department is now accepting
applications for seasonal/summer
Lifeguards. American Red Cross Lifeguard
training, Water Safety Instructor (WSI), and
CPR/First Aid classes will be taught and
will cost $120 per student. For more

Pool Cashier
The City of La Grange
Recreation Department is now accepting
applications for seasonal/summer Pool
Cashier. This person must possess knowledge
of simple math skills, a willingness to
learn start-up and deposit procedures, and
be accountable for daily money
intake/accounting at the City Pool. For
