C.O.P.

C.O.P. (Citizens On Patrol) is a program where Alumni members patrol the streets
in a specially equipped police cruiser. The cruiser is one which has been retired
from the police force and fitted with an amber light bar. It is equipped with a police
radio so patrolling members can communicate effectively with police dispatch and
the officers who are on duty.

The purpose of the program is to put an "extra set of eyes" on the street to assist
the certified officers in keeping our streets safe, help with traffic control in the
event of a traffic accident or other incident and to aid motorists who may need
help.
