2018 Summer Reading Program at the Fayette Public Library
What is the Summer Reading Program?
The SRP is a self-paced summer reading program from June 1st to July 29th that promotes reading as a fun activity and encourages kids to use library services. During the Summer Reading Program, the Library will have fun and educational programs every Wednesday at 10:15 AM outside the Library in Heritage Park. There will also be a Summer Story Hour on Thursdays at 10:15 AM. Events will take place rain or shine, please contact the Library for rain locations. Who can join?
All ages can join from birth to adult. Registration starts on June 1st and ends on July 28th.
How much does it cost?
It's FREE! All you need is a library card.
How do I get a library card?
Visit the Library and fill out an application. Proof of address is required, so please bring a report card, mail, or a driver’s license with a Fayette County address.
If you read and log at least ten books, you will receive an official Summer Reading Club certificate. The Library will also have weekly prize drawings for those who have read and logged at least one book that week.
