April saw a whirlwind of activity in the archives/museum.
Aside from the usual day-to-day task of answering phone calls
and assisting researchers, we were also putting together a very
special exhibit. This new exhibit features aprons and various
kitchen accessories of the past, including old Fayette County
cookbooks, an old wood-burning cookstove,  early 20^th century
Jello molds and a butter churn. In addition the exhibit features
one of a kind aprons and aprons from around the world. This
exhibit is a special feature of the archives/museum and will
have a limited run so be sure you do not miss it.
