Welcome to La Grange

The streets of La Grange were laid out several years before the organization of Fayette County in 1837.  First populated by Austin's colonists - "The Original Three Hundred", then followed by German immigrants in the 1840's and Czech and Moravians in the 1850's, the cultures of these pioneers are evident today and have been proudly passed through generations.

Thanksgiving Garbage Schedule

La Grange City offices will be closed Thursday & Friday, November 22nd & 23rd in observance of Thanksgiving.  Republic Services will also have a holiday on Thursday.

If you normally get your garbage and recycling picked up on Thursday, it will be picked up on Friday and if you normally get your garbage and recycling picked up on Friday, it will be picked up on Saturday.
