Quilt Walk on The Square

Join us on Saturday, February 27th from 10 am - 5 pm for La Grange's Quilt Walk on the Square!

The Quilt Walk will begin at the Historic Casino Hall where you can pick up your official Quilt Walk map. Quilts will be located at a number of Downtown businesses. Follow the map to view quilts and check out specials and discounts provided by participating boutiques and specialty stores.

Once you complete the Quilt Walk map, you will be entered into a drawing to win a handcrafted quilt by a local quilter.

We hope to see everyone for the Quilt Walk in February 2021!

Best Little Cowboy Gathering in Texas

The Best Little Cowboy Gathering is set to happen March 11th-13th. This event is a weekend full of fun for all ages.

There will be plenty of music and dancing the whole weekend. Along with live music will be other events throughout the weekend including BBQ Cookoff, chuckwagon exhibits, blacksmith demonstrations, arts and crafts, and food booths.

Kids activities include mutton bustin', face painting, treasure hunts, and bouncy houses.

This is a weekend full of fun for the whole family that you won't want to miss!

Texas Quilt Museum New Exhibits

Have you taken a tour of the Texas Quilt Museum? The Texas Quilt Museum is located in downtown La Grange in two historic buildings from the late 1800s. On display are very intricate pieces from all over the world.

The museum features changing exhibits throughout the year of quilted artworks. Beginning in January and running through March 2021 is: Deeds not words: Celebrating 100 Years of Women's Suffrage. Also, on exhibit during the same time period will be: Red, White, and Blue.

The museum grounds feature a period garden, library, and mural. If you are wanting to expand your quilt knowledge as well as admire some amazing artwork then add this place to your bucket list.
